Join us for this free and confidential World Unity Week Talking Circle to talk about what you would like to see on the University of Arizona (UA) campus that would demonstrate unity, peace, and harmony. What kind of future do you want to create? (Restricted to enrolled UA students. No preregistration required.) World UNITY Week is a week-long celebration of global unity, sponsored by the United Nations. Key conversations during the week will spotlight topics such as: collective climate action, partnerships for peace, global governance, interfaith harmony, sustainable and regenerative development, the role of business and economics, human rights, disarmament and other key elements of a new kind of future that we want to create. A Talking Circle is a practice within the Indigenous Healing Movement which creates a safe non-hierarchal space for everyone to share their feelings, perspectives, and experiences with others without being interrupted. It has been expanded for use within other groups for purposes such as social justice, activism, education, therapeutic group support and community organization. Cindy Klatte has been a counselor at CAPS for over 12 years. She completed the Four Worlds Digital Talking Circle Leadership Program, conducted by the Four Worlds International Institute.
